Last weekend the Christmas party of my football club DJK Karlsruhe-Ost took place. It has meanwhile become a young tradition that SEELEVEL presents the documentation of the current project at the Christmas party. This time I presented the orphanage of Mother Charity in the Togolese capital of Lomé.
Our former teammate Blaise, who now lives in Lomé, made the first contact.
This year we received over 700 € of daonations, which we mainly want to use for the completion of the orphanage building.
I would like to thank all fellow players, coaching staff and patrons of the club for the trust and the donations. A part of the donations, which we have already handed over, is from the club members of DJK-Ost.
But I would also like to emphasize that many donations were given in April through friendships between other clubs, myself and DJK-Ost. I would particularly like to highlight the following clubs: Florian Rauch and FSSV Karlsruhe, Manfred Sawilla and SW Mühlburg, Timm Helbach and the SpVgg Essenheim & VfL Frei-Weinheim, Benni Adam and SV Bulach.
