Marc and Max from Seelevel have been officially invited by the BMZ (Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development) on 19.12.2019 to Prime Minister Dr. Gerd Müller. The background to this is the Marshal Plan for Africa set up by the BMZ 2017 under the German G20 presidency. Details can be found in the official PDF of the Federal Ministry (in German):
As a private aid organization active in Togo, we are invited to the roundtable “Vision Togo 2030 – Civil Society Engagement of German Associations in Togo”. We are very happy about that because we can not compete with many other financially strong organizations. Nevertheless, our commitment and our successful projects do not seem to go unnoticed. Once again, we want to thank you for continuing to place your trust in us and financially supporting our projects!
The event will be attended by Prime Minister Dr. Gerd Müller also the Togolese ambassador S.E.M. Komi Bayédzè Dagoh as guest of honor, as well as other aid organizations active in Togo. We hope that we will not only receive further helpful information in the joint exchange, but also concrete solutions for our logistics possibilities and the “well-known problems” at Customs. We also want to get the BMZ excited about our “Mother Charity” project and, if there is a possibility, apply for development aid.
